A road race to benefit individuals facing homelessness, housing insecurity, and food insecurity.

SHC is currently seeking volunteers!

The Somerville 5K is a long-standing community tradition that unites us in our work to support our neighbors striving for stable housing and food security in Somerville and beyond. It’s a fun, energizing way to make a real impact in just a few hours, and we rely on the support of volunteers like you to make this event a success.

Each volunteer will receive an event t-shirt, breakfast, and detailed instructions. Please see the attached descriptions of the various volunteer roles available.
