Virtually Somerville with City Councilor Jake Wilson. 
An introduction to and then Q&A with the candidate for reelection to a second term -- Somerville City Councilor Jake Wilson. 

Jake Wilson was born in the Twin Cities.  He moved to a family farm in central Iowa when he was two. The oldest of four children, Jake grew up playing sports and helping with family farm work. He experienced food scarcity and his family’s brush with poverty in the mid-80s. 

He studied English at Penn in Philadelphia.  After graduation moved to Boston.   Married, moved to Somerville and started a family. 

Jake has had twenty years of experiences in new media Internet startups, capital campaigns for landmark building projects, municipal government, and professional sports.  He served as President of Somerville Youth Soccer and Treasurer and President of the Friends of the Healey School.

In 2021, he won a seat on the City Council.  He lives on Winter Hill with his wife their two children and their dog Leeloo.
