Com-Kit is a shared-use commercial kitchen and food business hub currently in development in Somerville, MA. The space is designed to provide licensed kitchen space, commissary services, and flexible production access for caterers, food producers, and growing culinary brands. Envisioned as a supportive “campus” for food entrepreneurship, Com-Kit will offer both dedicated kitchen opportunities for established businesses and time-blocked access for emerging operators. In addition to production space, the facility aims to create an environment where businesses can collaborate, meet clients, and grow through shared resources and community. The goal is to lower barriers to entry while supporting a strong, local food economy.
